Summer of Pie

We made pie. Oh yes, we did. This time is was a lovely brown sugar-butter-granny smith pie with an all-butter crust. The whole process, from making the dough to cutting the still warm slices, was about three and a half hours. Molly must have declared how much she loved the "delicious pie" about twenty times as she was eating her piece (for dinner.) It has been decided by the little blond chef that blueberry pie is next! Good thing it is almost summertime.
